RADWIN Solution in Ports

The largest independent terminal operator in the country awarded EBDI Philippines Inc. a contract to supply, install and commission RADWIN Wireless Solution.

Proof of Concept and live demostration were conducted to evaluate the performance of the RADWIN wireless solution. The result showed that the RADWIN exceeded the expectations that eventually lead to the awarding of the contract. RADWIN was chosen over other established wireless brands including that from a local telco. The Company was convinced that RADWIN solution is far more superior and reliable in terms of connectivity and link resiliency.

The contract is initially composed of 2 RADWIN JET DUO Base Station and 7 Subscriber Units that will be installed in Quay Cranes, RTG and Lamp Post to serve as wireless backhaul to other equipments.

The long term goal is to provide wireless connectivity for the whole yard to enhance operatonal efficiency and safety.

Same wireless solution has been deployed on other terminals operated by the Company
